Welcome to the 6th Grade Blog

We are going to try to condense our communication tools that we use through the use of this Blog. Subject areas such as Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies will post topics and assignments on this blog weekly for your review. We still want your child to use a planner in order to build organizational skills and independence. Hopefully, you will find this blog easy to use and helpful as you work with your child at home.

Upcoming dates and reminders



Science Fair and Spring Concert
Monday, May 13th
5th Graders will be at their displays presenting 12:45 - 1:15pm
6th Graders will be at their displays presenting 1:15 - 1:45pm

Media doors close at 1:45pm so students and parents all are in the
auditorium seated and ready for the 2:00pm concert.

AIMS WEB testing on Friday, May 17th

Bottle Rockets

Students need to bring in 2 liter pop bottles by Monday, May 13th

We will start building rockets in 2 days with 1 day to do a practice launch

Rocket Day will be Wednesday, May 22

5th Graders in the morning

6th Graders in the afternoon
